Role & Responsibilities
As Director of Extension Services, Dr. T. R. Sharma leads the DES of JNKVV which is the key interface between agricultural research/education and the farming community of Madhya Pradesh. Some of his core responsibilities include:

Coordinating dissemination of improved agricultural technologies and practices developed by the university’s research system.

Overseeing training programmes, on-farm demonstrations, farmer outreach, capacity-building of extension personnel and farmers’ engagement.

Ensuring linkage between university departments, research stations, KVKs (Krishi Vigyan Kendras) and field outreach for enhancing productivity, profitability & sustainability of agriculture.

Representing the Directorate in key committees of the university (for example he is a member of the Academic Council).
