Dr. Seema Naberia, Assistant Professor in the Department of Extension Education, College of Agriculture, JNKVV Jabalpur, got the ISEE Fellow Award-2021 Award by Indian Society of Extension Education, IARI, New Delhi for Outstanding Contribution in the Field of Extension Education in ISEE National Seminar on Transforming Indian Agriculture through Pluralistic and Innovative Extension Approaches for Self-Reliant India during 4-6 October 2021 at BHU, Varanasi.
Dr. Kamini Bisht Received the Young Scientist Award-2023
Dr. Kamini Bisht, Assistant Professor in the Department of Extension Education, College of Agriculture, JNKVV Jabalpur,
got the prestigious Young Scientist Award by the Indian Society of Extension Education for her outstanding contribution in
the field of Extension Education and Research. The award was conferred during the National Seminar on 'Evolving Extension Science Towards
Secondary Agriculture for Sustainable Development,' held during June 22-24, 2023, at the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore.

Training Programme Organized
Training programme on "Spatial Data Analysis by Using R and GeoDa" (21-days)
The Department of Agriculture Economics and Farm Management & Department of Extension Education with
the collaboration of National Agriculture Higher Education Project, CAE Jabalpur organized a 21-day trading programme
on "Spatial Data Analysis by Using R and GeoDa" from January 24 to February 14, 2023. Total 25 participants were participated
in this training programme. This training has been coordinated by Dr. Sonam Agrawal, Mr. Gourav Kumar Vani main focus of this
offline training was intended to cover the basics of spatial data analysis. The well-known open source software R and GeoDa shall
be used to impart training on spatial data analysis. The training programme aims to make trainees skilled in not only in preparation
of thematic maps but also in analysis and interpretation of spatial data by using software.
Training programme on “Basics of Computer and Application of ICT in Agriculture”
The 14 day training programme on “Basics of Computer and Application of ICT in Agriculture” organised by the Department
of Extension Education for UG & PG students of College of Agriculture, Jabalpur from 11 to 24 January, 2023. The training
programme was inaugurated on 11 January, 2023 by the Dr. P.B.Sharma, Dean CoA, Jabalpur the programme was chaired by Dr. D.K.Jaiswal,
Professor & Head Department of Extension Education JNKVV, Jabalpur. Dr. Parvez Rajan, Assistant Professor, Department of Extension Education
performed the duty as Training Coordinator and Dr. Kamini Bisht and Dr. Seema Naberia as Co-Coordinator. The training programme was organised
with the aim to orient the students about basics of computer application and use of ICT in agriculture, though creating an opportunity for students
to fulfill the gap in computer literacy which was caused due to lockdown. The main focus of experts was on developing the practical skill in the students.
The experts for this training programme were the faculty of computer science of our university itself.
