- To identify the gaps in the principle and practices for land and water management and to minimize them through proper extension services.
- To study the present status of the contribution of soil water engineering in state agriculture and to seek suitable solution to problem if any through collaboration with the state and central institutions.
- Transfer of improved technologies of Soil and Water management through extension and agro-advisory services.
