Demonstration of production technology of vegetable and flowers under protected cultivation.
On and off farm training of farmers on improved Agro-techniques, improved varieties, hi-tech horticulture and nursery management.
The State level annual flower show is organized every year in the month of February and March at College of Agriculture, Jabalpur. Exhibitions are displayed which includes flowers, fruits, vegetables, value added products etc.
Seed production techniques in vegetables.
Demonstrated various production technologies of vegetables to the farmers in Kisan Mela.
Mass education through radio talks and T.V. talks by scientists of the department.
Literature on special issues of Krishi Vishwa and other publications viz., Sabji vigyan, phal vigyan on vegetables, spices, flowers & fruits have been published by the V.V. Popular articles on Agro-techniques have been published by various scientists of the department.
Several technical bulletins, pamphlets, folders, practical manuals etc., have been developed.
