Post Harvest Process and Food Engineering is one of the four major disciplines of Agricultural Engineering.  Dr. C. K. Teckchandani was the first Head of Department, appointing in 1989. The department offers PG & Ph.D. program leading to M.Tech. & Ph.D. degree in Processing & Food Engineering respectively. The admission to PG & Ph.D. degree program is granted by competitive exam conducted by the university. The intake capacity is 02 Free & 02 payment seats in PG & Ph.D. both.
