Tikamgarh district lies between latitude 240 26’ and 250 34’ North and longitude 780 26’ and 790 21’ East. As per the 2011 census of India, Tikamgarh District has a population of 1,445,166 in 2011 out of which 760,355 are male and 684,811 are female. Literate people are 747,940 out of 459,353, who are male, and 288,587 are female.
